Production Management One is a production management partner specializing in the design and deployment of staging, seating, and structures for live events. We operate from Detroit, Orlando, and the DC metro — and we build nationwide.
Our clients are event producers, promoters, networks, leagues, and campaigns running high-stakes, quick-turn events where the timeline is aggressive, the audience is watching, and there's no room to get it wrong.
We're not a rental catalog. We're the team that thinks like a director, engineers like a crew that's done this a thousand times, and shows up ready to own the outcome.
HOW WE WORK
Every PM1 project starts the same way: with production thinking.
Before a single piece of decking ships, our team designs with broadcast logic, camera sightlines, performer flow, and audience experience built into the layout from the start. One team owns the timeline. One point of accountability manages the build. The client never chases five vendors — they call us.
When something changes — and it always changes — our team is on the phone within minutes. Drawings update. Parts lists regenerate. Gear hot-shots to site. Updates push to crew before load-in. That's the difference between a production management partner and a company that drops off equipment.
WHAT WE BUILD
Our core is staging, seating, and structures — from standard event decks to complex multi-level configurations with ADA-compliant ramps, tiered press risers, VIP platforms, and broadcast-ready camera positions.
When the event demands it, the trucks also carry TV lighting, LED walls, audio systems, wireless comms, power distribution, generators, lifts, floor and turf protection, pipe and drape, crowd control, and everything else it takes to deliver a complete production. We maintain a vetted partner network across the country for gear that can't be sourced or shipped in time.

OUR STORY
PM1 was founded in 2018 by Jarrad Scott and Ryan Palmer — two production professionals who had spent their careers in the field and saw an opportunity to build a company that matched their standards.
The idea was straightforward: treat every event like it's the one that matters most, staff it with people who've done the work before, and never let the client wonder if the production partner showed up ready.
That idea became a company. The company grew into a national operation. And the standard hasn't changed.
